Sherri DuPree Wielding a Rickenbacker, a gorgeous voice, and a way with words, Sherri is a genius with lyrics and guitar. She has penned many of Eisley's songs, composing with Stacy on a "creaky" old Wurlitzer. Of all the members of Eisley, Sherri tends to change her hair style and color most often and most dramatically. She is also, like her bandmates, completely obsessed with Radiohead. Her old Eisley.com bio includes the following: "I might be wrong, but meeting people is not easy; it's scary. I hate that about myself, but every day... in every way... I am getting better... right? (Everyone who caught all three Radiohead puns is my hero.)" Sherri In Pictures Sherri's Old Eisley.com Bio My name is Sherri DuPree and I am the ripe old age of 18 as of 12/3/83. I play guitar, sing and write for Eisley. To have grown up in a family full of musically oriented people has been an incredible thing for all of us. I'll try to keep this simple. I pretty much exist in daily life to read books, draw, write words, and to experience God and music. My books are usually about Kings, Castles, Dragons and Dwarves... my pictures of sad, mangled little creatures... my words are contrived, pathetic attempts at sounding artistic... and my music, growing more and more into what I want it to be.My favorite colour is red. I love playing and writing for Eisley. It's wonderful to have such a fun, creative outlet and to be able to meet and share your songs with so many people. I might be wrong, but I think meeting people is not easy; it's scary. I hate that about myself, but everyday... in every way... I am getting better... right? (Everyone who caught all three Radiohead puns is my hero.) I think music is God's best idea ever. He must have been in an extra good mood the day he created it... probably drank a Mountain Dew or Cream Soda or something. The other guys in the band are my best friends. One time we tried to make smores in the microwave using little teddy graham crackers and chocolate syrup. That didn't work very good. Another time Weston locked Jon in the trailer for a long time... that was funny. Jon is good to have in the band because he always makes sure I don't forget my guitar stand. Stacy is good to have in the band because she's so feeble and puny that she can't lift her own gear and it's the heaviest out of anyone's in the band... and I think it's funny that she'll never be able to lift it. Weston is good to have in the band because he lifts Stacy's heavy gear and then gets hernias; he also makes us laugh when we should be practicing. I'm good to have in the band because I read in the car on the way home from shows at 3:30 a.m. with the light on and it shines in everyone else's eyes and bothers them. And Chauntelle is good to have in the band because she is nicer than anyone else and she keeps us all on our toes and in line.
